RecC101-: Recreational Coastal 1x
The RecCO101 model of Coastal 1x is our latest Coastal model. It meets the World Rowing requirements for Beach Spring and Endurance Coastal racing, but it is designed for recreational use, rather than racing.
The 3 main differences are:
- 1m shorter than most racing Coastal 1x, for easy transport by car, storage in the garage, boat handling etc, and a shorter boat helps to keep the weight down.
- Flatter hull shape for extra stability.
- Wide stern to minimize the “pitching” (porpoising) that would normally happen with such a short boat.
This boat still have a good turn of speed and is very maneuverable.
We offer 2 grades for this boat, Elite Plus, the same as offer for our other Coastal boats, but Carbon Pro instead of Elite Carbon, which uses pre-preg carbon to minimize weight, handy when carrying it around for adventures!
It is available with a choice of stern wing or reverse wing rigger, and in a choice of gelcoat colours.
